New game pick-up over the radar! "The Bell Chimes For Gold"

It's been a mix of real life events and lack of any big and related news really.

BUT NOW... the time has come for us all to rise again!! \o/

Ossan Club is a unit of indie game makers looking for support in order for their games being released in English - I have gladly backed for them and I ask you to do the same because, well, a digital copy is only USD $5,00! That's about how much you pay for, like, a single route in a mobile game? Here you'll be getting five routes for the same expenses!

But it doesn't end there - the game has two versions! The USD $5,00 one is of a lighter tone, while the USD $20,00 version is R18! It's really amazing to have a game about middle-aged men with actual adult themes~ <3

Wrapping the news in a great tone, if you're a fan of Drama CD, it's worth checking out Ossan Club's voice team Patreon - you'll get access to unique-themed sound dramas, and if they meet the goal they'll release English scripts, all the while supporting more releases of stories featuring dazzlingly sweet voices of older, manlier seiyuu... Seifuku no Ojisama - 6th character's release and seiyuu

Quite a few months have passed since the devs have announced Sugimoto as the sixth character to be released for mobile game Seifuku no Ojisama. The news came earlier yesterday, for his seiyuu and release have been finally set!

Satoshi Sugimoto's role will be voiced by Yuji Ueda (most anime I've watched with him, he's done lots of young roles, which shows he knows how to act various kinds of characters despite his age... the closest call for an older role is Hajime Shibata from Jigoku Shoujo). His route's release is expected for March 2014.

I am kind of hoping they release a drama CD featuring Sugimoto after the previously-scheduled releases are done, however, he's not even cast for the special radio CD...

Seifuku no Ojisama news - April 4 (updated April 5)

Currently been preparing bigger posts about two new games so I didn't post much lately, but please keep tuned for these reviews.

In the meantime, have a few quick drops:

Cinderella and the Twenty Four O'Clock Bell - Spencer Hendrick end

When I first read about "that Cinderella game" more than a year ago, I saw the cast and had eyes only for Reynald Halloween because of his seiyuu (Takeshi Kusao, known for Cless Alvein from Tales series, also notable for Shugo Aizawa from Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 3). However, it hit me hard when I knew his character didn't had a route, so I forgot completely about that game.

So gentlemanly charming~

Time skip to a few days ago, friday, March 8th 2013: I found out Jouji Nakata had voiced a character in an otome game which was released prior to Double Score. While looking it up, a surprised face was rised as I figured "that Cinderella game" had turned into a series, much like other QuinRose franchises.

Being the big seiyuu stalker I am, the wonders of modern day tech allowed me to play this game last week. And wow, it sure was a fast play...

My Sweet Bodyguard - Casino Royale event #3

Were the bugs really sorted out...?

After the real mess following the event's grand opening, I have started doing the character routes available.

The main premise is that the Prime Minister (the good for nothing protagonist's father) has some affairs within the USA (randomly curious note: My Sweet Bodyguard's common route stories takes place in Japan) and he kinda invites you (and every bodyguard, including Goto, who haven't a route in this event) to come along. From there on, you pass through assorted dangerous situations together with the bodyguard of choice.

Without further delay, here's a sort of abridged review for Daichi and Subaru's routes...

Seifuku no Ojisama - Shima Tachihara app event

During the past weekend there was a Gold spamming gathering event in SeiOji - the players who had over 3000 Gold between January 24th and 30th were allowed to exchange that amount for the rights to download an exclusive Android app featuring Shima Tachihara, the targetable-character employed as a bartender.

It was also the very first event held since this game started. I am very glad I managed to accomplish it! \( ﾟ▽ﾟ)/

For people who still haven't started playing this game, or just the ones which did not manage to gather 3000 Gold before the event's closure, I am bringing you the CG embedded within the app...
