So... do you remember, when I said in the "hype list" post that I would not play Dia no Kuni this year yet?
I lied. Truth is, I just couldn't resist him any longer.
Warning for sarcastic jokes - read at your own sanity's risk.
Also warning for screenshot overload.
So, after a really long and boring intro, Alice was wandering through the Country of Diamond when she spotted the graveyard - there were a lot of men talking and she decided to take a peek through the fence, only to see some guys getting murdered.
Their apparent leader saw Alice peeking there, however, she courageously didn't ran away, so he kinda invited her to have a tea and talk about trivial stuff talk while he digged the dead men's graves.
How lovely it is, to see such a quick relationship develop into being partners in crime~
Anyway, they really talked a lot, and suddenly he says he is a pro mercenary who's involved in a holy grail war belongs to the mafia... then I couldn't help but fall in laughter, and so did Alice too:
Now out of the prologue and into his own route!
The next day Alice promptly goes to the graveyard to stalk look for her future husband Jericho, but he isn't there. The other diggers tells her to look in the museum though.
When Alice gets there, she asks one of the guides, and he calls for Jericho, who looks so different Alice doesn't recognize him at first sight.
Okay, let's interrupt this review shortly so I can have a look at my list, in no particular order...
Ossan - check!
Sexy voice - check!
Formal wear - check!
Megane - check!
Most probably a rapist kichiku - check!
Eye circle marks - check!
Square chin - check!
Scarred - check!
Looks tall and sturdy - check!
Has a double-sided and dangerous way of life - check!
He doesn't check out the "hair by the shoulder line" and "facial hair" items though, at least he isn't bald XD
That's quite an impressive feature list~
~intermission end~
So, once Alice is cleared out of her confusion misery, Jericho takes her to a romantic (if only) tour in the museum.
As soon as the couple catches up with a group of visitors, Alice loses Jericho from her perimeter and starts to look out for him desperately, until she spots someone else she knows (from previous entries, I bet) - a dark-haired man dressed full of clocks who's named Julius and is voiced by Koyasu Takehito.
Turns out Jericho and Julius already know each other (is he some sort of museum manager? I couldn't make much of his role there).
There is also some kid there named Ace who annoys Jericho asking the likes of "Is she your new girlfriend?", to whom Jericho quickly answers "No, this kid is just a visitor, now GTFO." - yeah, to him Alice is nothing but a kid, so much consideration for your own stalker!
But our dear protagonist DOES have a plan to lure Jericho into her!
Soon after, Alice is already asking if she can help out working at the museum, and then Jericho surprisingly leads Alice into her own room inside the building, where he tells the staff room is the room right by the side, where he can clearly hear her moans during her sleep, and she is free to ask for the staffers' help anytime.
"Thanks..." Can I ask for your help during the nightly hours too? Your chest looks like a wonderful pillow! |
So, after such a turnon... Jericho calls you good night and steps out of your brandnew room. \(_`皿´)/ NAZE?! CHOTTO MATTE!!
This wraps up the first chapter of Jericho's route~
Please note that:
1) This was what I could make about his story with my limited vocab.
2) Didn't play the previous games and do not know any backstory.
