From today I'll be posting spoiler-free guides for all the current available routes in Seifuku no Ojisama, beginning with James, which have been asked by a reader in the menu translation post =D
There is no such thing as bad ends in this game, but each character has four endings, in which one is attained with positive points, other with a negative value, other with a value inbetween these two, and the last ending is only given to the player by buying a cash item (please refer to the aforementioned menu translation post to know in which item tab you can find it).

Oh and let's say I want to get the seme end ( >///< Eeek. I'm so shameless! Haha) ) , is it still possible to attain it even if I'm 10 points short or something?

Yes it is possible to replay routes, and also restart anytime you want - in the game's main menu, under your current affection meter, the first button is where you can go into a "Target Change" menu - select the same character you are currently trying, and then confirm (the option for confirming should be always the one on the left side, while for cancelling it's always on the right).
DeleteYou might actually need to do this twice - when I finish a route, I always need to change two times for it to take effect. You should notice when the affection parameter resets at 0, so you know you've started over.
Also, when restarting a character you already did (after obtaining an ending), you get to keep your skill count, so you should only worry about skill points for passing missions on the first run for each story =D
For the reason above, and also because the game stores in the gallery the endings you have already seen, I recommend you to keep going on and aim for ANY end if it's your first run, because then you will have it saved and you can focus for a new ending from the new start ^^

ReplyDeleteI've been trying to work out a menu translation, like having the menu translated in-game for real, but it's still going to take a while. The translation team who volunteered have been progressing slowly as well, so there is no estimate on when patches are going to be released, sorry for that ^^;;
